How to Start Freelancing Work – Lets Talk about Upwork
Freelance – When freelancing you will most likely be working on your own time, with your own hours and will be setting your own price amounts. In this case you can offer services such as web development, web design, writing, web hosting, marketing, SEM, SEO, etc. You wont have anyone looking over your shoulder and this is why I consider this more of a work at home “job” rather than an affiliate program because what you make, is what you keep.
CPA Programs – CPA is sometimes referred to as “Cost Per Action”, which has to do with the fact that most CPA offers by advertisers are about getting something (typically new customers by making sales). When individuals sign up or buy the item, you will be given a certain percentage from the initial sale.
EBay & Affiliate Storefronts – As far as shopfronts go, I actually like Amazon merely because they offer many diverse products on the website. For example, I have a website, so I can go to Amazon and pick out different affiliates that I know that I will be utilizing at my joke site. Affiliates that offer such things as gag gifts, funny gifts, etc.
Domain Real Estate – If you know anything about domains, and can get your hand on some good ones for, however, much you are willing to spend, you can make a living buying and selling domains. Buy low sell high, type thing. You can sell domains pretty much anywhere but there are certain “official” websites for this kind of work, such as afternic and sedo.
Joint Ventures – A joint venture (often abbreviated JV) is an entity formed between two or more parties to undertake economic activity together. The parties agree to create a new entity by both contributing equity, and they then share in the revenues, expenses, and control of the enterprise. The venture can be for one specific project only, or a continuing business relationship. This is in contrast to a strategic alliance, which involves no equity stake by the participants, and is a much less rigid arrangement. This is also good if you have a fantastic idea but might not have a lot of money to get it going. You can get someone to do a JV with you allowing both of you to put money into it and thus both making money back!
So how do you get into these types of programs? What are the best ones to join? Where can you look? Honestly, I would suggest you check into some of the package memberships available online. They can give you ALL the info of the how, where, when and why’s, but they also give you step-by-step instructions on how to make money with specific projects, sites, tactics and programs. Really its like having an all-in-one guide to look after you and tell you exactly what to do in order to make money with the above-mentioned programs.
They will also have other programs available as well. Some of these are repeats, but just so you get an idea of the HUGE list: Affiliate programs, auto blogging, AdWords programs, AdSense programs, pay per click programs, Craigslist programs, eBay programs, traffic and marketing programs, ebook publishing programs, info product creation programs, joint venture programs, YouTube and Twitter programs, real estate programs, auction programs, tutorial videos on almost everything, more resell-right products, ebooks, graphics packs, press release programs and much more!
The price itself for these “guides” is pretty darn cheap for what you get. Obviously there are going to be a few different ones available to you. They will all have different programs, prices, options, etc. So if you really want to you can take a look around and see what interests you and what YOU think you could make money at. Give yourself a chance though. I’m doing what I am right now and have been for close to three years and when I started I never thought I would be as successful as I have become. Its pretty awesome. And I see myself continuing this for a long time to come! Don’t give up on yourself! This is an awesome chance to start a home business and learn HOW to start a home business or a work from home job!
